The reality of her nightmares sank in once again.
Only to the voice of such a deadly grim.
It wasn’t her who wished these horrors true.

A man of old wise tales who haunts her in wake.
The only one the catches her breath to a deadly brink.
As tears flood naturally from her brown heaven set eyes.
She knows the devil lurks near.

Sometimes I wish I could have felt the same way about them as they have towards me…
Because I realize now how amazing they are, how they always keep me smiling, and how no matter what I always have fun with them.
But I was blinded by love in the worst sense. Blinded by the only person who could never really love me like they love me…
I wish I knew what I know now, then…...
